Wood Baseball Bat Care Guide
There are a few simple steps that you can take to prolong the life of your wood baseball bat and keep it performing at it's peak. Wood bats are constructed from natural materials that are very susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity but with a little knowledge and care they can last for a very long time.
- Only hit real leather baseballs, dimpled batting cage balls and heavy plyo balls can cause premature damage.
- When hitting, orient the Noble logo facing up at you or facing down at the ground.
- Try to only hit balls between the end of the Noble logo and inside 1 inch of the end of the bat, hitting the ball close to your hands or off the very end greatly increases the chances of breakage.
- Don't store your wood baseball bat in extremely hot or cold locations, the two most common are cars and unconditioned garages. This will greatly decrease the life expectancy of your bat. If you feel uncomfortable in the temperature hot or cold, so does your wood bat.
- Don't bang your bat against objects or slam it on the ground.
